Only over the past few years has the idea of a “Virtual Assistant” even been introduced. Some agents have grabbed on while some are still gun shy. This is COMPLETELY understandable. A lot of these Companies are not local and that is a real concern.
But you are at this point where you need some help and are thinking about just hiring an assistant. So, what makes my service better than just hiring someone?
This is a GREAT question and here are a few reasons why.
1) I am ALREADY LICENSED. I can LEGALLY talk to anyone involved in your transaction. You don’t have to worry about what I am and am not allowed to discuss or disclose. Plus, there is no waiting for an assistant to go through school and pass the state exam. I have already done this.
2) I am ALREADY TRAINED. Do you really have hours upon hours to train a new assistant off the street how to use MLS, NTREIS Transactions and CSS? I already know how to do all this. I was using MLS when it was a desktop application that ran in a blue dos based window. I know the “lingo” and how to use the software. You can feel comfortable that when you hand me something, I will hit the floor running and not have to ask “How do I do that?”.
3) No Payroll Taxes. My service can be written off as a business expense and you don’t have to pay the government anything extra. You won’t need your accountant to figure up quarterly tax payments and W-2’s.
4) SAVES YOU MONEY! With gas prices to almost $4.00 a gallon and the cost of everything going up, can you afford to pay someone to sit at a desk with nothing to do? My husband coined the phrase “butt time” for many jobs in corporate America. They pay someone to sit at a desk, 8 hours a day 5 days a week, with not enough work to keep them busy. Therefore they are paying someone to sit in a chair ie “butt time.”

Here is a basic example:
You have an assistant making $10.00 a hour for a 40 hour work week.
$10.00 x 8 hours = $80.00 a day, $400 a week, or $1200 a month
**Plus a possible higher office bill with your broker.
In order for you to spend the same amount with my service, I would:
Process 3 files contract to close: $599.85 ** remember paid after closing
Maintain 10 Listings: $249.95
Input 3 new listings into MLS & CSS with pictures of them: $110.70 ** first month maintenance included.
15 hours of dedicated time for creating flyers, send out marketing material or anything else you need done.
Total: $1185.50 with no additional office bill, no sick pay, no vacation pay and no employment taxes!
